Welcome back!

Wow, I've been an awful blogger this year!! (How many bloggers say that?)

It's not that I don't want to, it's that I'm so busy and have many irons in the fire that sometimes I just can't keep track of everything... My photography has been keeping me really busy this year (which is a good thing) but I'm gonna try to get back here and blog about these two crazy weims. Besides, we have a small urban farm here that's been taking some of my time! More to come on that too! let's just say..... ummmm...uhhhhhh....chickens!?

Anyway, we just got back from a few days in Northern Michigan and I have a few pictures of the pups I'd like to share. Once I get them off the camera tonight I'll get them posted. The dogs had a great time that's for sure. All those smells, well, it drove Bailey nuts! She was like a crack head needing a fix every time we took her out on a hike, he nose sounded like a vacuum!!

Oh, did I tell you we thought about getting another pup?? Well, we were really close to picking up an addition to our family however the one we were thinking about never came though for us so we're kinda in a holding pattern. It was a Australian shepherd/Sheltie mix. We bumped into a guy that had one but I was not ready to make a decision on the spot .... so I gave him my number and told him to call me in a week... he never did. My family wasn't very happy with me and I regret not inquiring more. Guess it wasn't meant to be though...

I'll try to get some pictures posted in a day or two of our recent trip north.

Enough about me, how have you all been??? I've been trying to catch up on all your blogs to see what's been going on.

Hi Sean!!
We've been busy too... rescue is getting slammed and June and Haze have been patient! Haze got his treadmill so he can "workout" on rainy days.
June's been running some lure coursing. No ribbons, but having fun chasing those white bags!
On the show circuit, I helped organize a rescue parade during Weim shows in NJ. My puppy-by-proxy's breeder-family had quite a few entries and wins! Then we had the WCA Ratings... always a favorite dog activity of mine. I love to watch them get the birds!!
Speaking of getting birds, how are the chickens?
